Data Intrusion of Advance Auto Parts Affects 56,000 customers

Advance Auto Parts, headquartered in Roanoke, Va., alerted customers of fourteen locations that their financial information may have been stolen as result of a network intrusion. 56,000 customers are believed to have been affected.
Advance Auto Parts reports that they are the second-largest retailer of automotive after market parts, accessories, batteries, and maintenance items in the United States, based on store count and sales.
The affected retail stores are located in the following states: Georgia, Ohio, Louisiana, Tennessee, Mississippi, Indiana, Virginia and New York.
